The design concept of Safadasht Koushk was to maximize the connection
between the villa itself and the surrounding gardens. It was designed to create a
variety of spatial qualities, and the ability to visually connect all spaces with natural
environment. Not only were the existing hundred and fifty years old trees not
cut down in favour of the design, they are used to benefit the residence experience
by allowing nature to penetrate into the middle of the building from both
the north and south side. This design allows the building to be divided into both
private and more public environments. the three hundered fourty square meters
villa is located towards the northern edge of a two thousand square meters
garden. Bricks, wood, concrete and faience tiles were the main materials used in
the construction of this villa
